Recruiter invests in new tech after jobs success

The new website will bring employers and candidates together to meet the demand for recruits in the IT and executive job sectors.

Managing director Sarah Ellwood says that laying the foundations for growth and providing a tailor-made website to address skills shortages in the region will allow her firm to become a one-stop shop for recruitment.

She said: “Our specialist division has undergone a rebrand in response to feedback from clients, as the previous name – Supertemps Specialist Division – was misleading for jobseekers and employers in the executive and IT sectors.”

“We are proud of our long-standing reputation and the Supertemps name but it did not reflect the executive arm of the business, so S2 was born.

“The division has grown rapidly so it seemed right to create an online presence that addresses demand while benefiting people on both sides of the job spectrum.”

“We have a team of consultants who ensure our clients and candidates would benefit from expert knowledge with a strong brand and market footprint to back it up.

“Our new website makes the final stage of the refresh complete and marks an exciting new chapter not only for Supertemps and S2, but for executive recruitment in North Wales and beyond.”

The firm also launches a new construction arm this summer and has just completed a nationwide contract with Blind Veterans UK.

Some companies already working with S2 include telecommunications business Pinacl, Williams Denton chartered accountants, Loyalty Logistix, which provides customer retention solutions for the automotive industry and Wirral-based Survitec.

Supertemps has launched a specialist division to take on the burgeoning executive market in 2012, but since then it has more than doubled to the point where a new, bespoke area of the business was the natural next step.

Sarah continued: “S2 is a vital part of the Supertemps group, as is the new dedicated construction element of the business, but by offering these independent divisions – together with DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) – we can offer a wide range of services under one roof.”

“We understand that clients recruiting at the executive end of the market often have different expectations and demands to those recruiting into more generalist positions.
