Neo G secures partnership with Chartered Society of Pysiotherapy (CSP)
The agreement, signed in June 2017, will see the Harrogate-based company working closely with the CSP in further developing its range of orthopaedic braces and supports, orthotics and hot & cold therapy devices.
Robert Yeldham, Director of Strategy, Policy and Engagement at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, said: “As a society, we are committed to promoting high quality, innovative patient care.
“We have partnered with Neo G because they are committed to involving chartered physiotherapists in developing and testing their products. This should give confidence to our members and their patients.”
Neo G’s existing range of Class 1 medical compression and support products underwent an in-depth review process by a CSP nominated chartered physiotherapist as part of the partnership process.
Neo G have also agreed that future products added to their range will be reviewed by a chartered physiotherapist.
Neo G will now be able to use the CSP logo on all its products sold through major high street retailers in the UK and overseas.
Stephen Kirk, lead physiotherapist at OneWellness Harrogate, said: “I’m delighted to be able to lend our support to Neo G products, something which I have been recommending to patients for years.
“The products are good quality, comfortable and affordable and it’s no surprise that Neo G are now working in partnership with the CSP.
“In my role as lead physiotherapist, our expert-led approach is a perfect match with the Neo G products and it’s great to see another Harrogate company leading the charge with us in doing all they can in aiding patient recovery.”
Neo G, which has its head office in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, has grown over the past 12 years into a leading global medical device brand offering a range of premium medical grade products.
Its founder and CEO Paul Starkey said: “We have undertaken an ambitious product development programme, working closely with physiotherapists to create an innovative range of products, all of which undergo rigorous testing to ensure they can be trusted by medical professionals and by patients.
“We are very proud to have joined forces with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy – physios are on the frontline, helping patients every day who are suffering from a wide range of injuries and conditions.
“It is extremely satisfying to know that these professionals are using our products as the leaders in aiding patient recovery and pain management.”
