Inspiretec to reveal new brand and product suite at World Travel Market

Simon Powell’s Cardiff-based travel technology companies Comtec and Eysys will officially merge to create a single and strengthened proposition under the new Inspiretec brand.

The company, with headquarters in North Cardiff, is set to realise growth of over 80% by year-end, with headcount expected to reach 140 across the UK head office and North America office.

It’s a year on since Powell started to bring the companies together, which has seen the company win major business contracts, including contracts with household UK travel brands such as Shearings Holidays and the Caravan and Motorhome Club.

The merging of the companies and the harmonisation of the products and services now means that Inspiretec is equipped to offer the end-to-end digital solution with an experienced delivery model.

Simon said: “Since we invested heavily in bringing a number of companies into our organisation, our capabilities, experience and expertise has increased dramatically.”

“On top of the back-end and reservations platform that Comtec is renowned for, we now have complex CRM and web personalisation products developed through our Eysys offering.

“Inspiretec will connect both aspects, and will be joined by specialist web design agency Sequence and Canadian travel loyalty specialist Incentriq, as we marry our offerings under one roof.”

Harvey Alexander, director of marketing at the Caravan and Motorhome club stated: “We’re really happy to appoint Inspiretec as our partner.”

“Their appointment concludes an extensive competitive tendering process, and we felt that Inspiretec shared our vision and demonstrated the capacity for organisations like ours who are looking to achieve a step change in how they engage with their customers.”

Inspiretec will also launch its Holistic product at this year’s WTM which was developed from expertise across its companies.

The Holistic platform manages interactions and relationships with clients and potential clients.

Using data intelligently to create a single view of the customer, allowing tour operators and travel agents to conduct intelligent marketing, optimise workflow, automate tasks and create a deeper understanding of the client/user.

Inspiretec will deliver a keynote at WTM’s Travel Tech Theatre that will touch upon some of the elements of the new Holistic platform as the focus turns to achieving personalised customer experiences for website visitors.
