Manchester agencies secure EKO4's UK operations
EKO 4 Global Services Ltd provides a blend of digital marketing services suited both for local businesses or those who are seeking to grow internationally. It specialises combine online marketing strategies with branding, website design, localisation and multi-lingual translation services – all professionally project managed.
EKO4 was established in 1991; its name derived from 'Economical Services 4 Success’. Now with seven offices in Bulgaria, the company built on its domestic success when director Vesselin Hristov set his sights on European expansion last year. He was looking for a digital hub outside Bulgaria from which to expand into new European and American markets.
With the help of UKTI North West, Vesselin was introduced to MIDAS, Manchester's inward development agency, which assisted him with finding premises in BBC MediaCity UK, the leading digital hub in the Northern Powerhouse.
Vesselin stated: "Manchester is a thriving city and the ideal location for start-up digital and technological companies to grow and scale up globally. After strong domestic success with seven offices in Bulgaria, I feel Manchester has provided the perfect springboard for the next stage of our international business growth.
“I received invaluable advice and support on international marketing, communications and British business culture from UKTI North West’s Language and Culture Adviser, Sara Knowles and my UKTI International Trade Adviser, Alexandra Stewart helped to obtain market information via British embassies in some of my target markets.”
Amar Mistry, commercial partnerships manager at UKTI’s Investment Services Team, said: “We worked with Vess and EKO4 from the early stages of its internationalisation plans, right through to set-up. It’s a testimony to the difference our free and confidential support makes. He took advantage of almost all of our services and certainly kept us busy. It is great to see EKO4 growing and looking forward to hearing about its continued success.”
The company is proud to announce a successful first year in the UK market and has plans to double its turnover and create five more jobs in the year ahead.
