Loftco release new Cardiff offices to market at W2
W2, located in the Canton area of Cardiff, will incorporate a full refurbishment of the building’s original commercial units into retail spaces and luxury office units, with the addition of a two-storey vertical extension, which will house 44 one and two-bedroom apartments.
Building on the success of the residential phase of the development earlier this year, which saw over half of the building’s apartments sold in the first month they went to market, the office spaces are expected to attract similarly high demand.
Forty exclusive office units will be available to rent from October this year.
The uniquely designed office spaces, which range from 115 square foot to 460 square foot in size, will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including high speed Wifi access, smart TVs and modern break out spaces.
The interior designed spaces will pay homage to the heritage of the building, which used to be a snooker hall.
It will also feature bespoke detailing and features including street art and concrete floors to ensure a stylish and versatile way of working in line with the requirements of contemporary 24-7 work spaces.
Despite being situated in a desirable city centre location, many of the office units will be available on affordable and flexible terms; starting at just £35 per day and £100 per week with a guarantee of no hidden costs.
Mark Andrews, Director of Loftco said: “W2 typifies our ongoing mission to find and develop innovative solutions that deliver desirable live/work spaces within sought after urban locations.
“We feel there is a real gap in the market for contemporary and stylish office units that are designed with modern-day work requirements in mind.
“We hope that W2 will provide a solution to this need, offering flexible and affordable rental terms for businesses of all shapes and sizes.”
Gary Carver, director of business space at Savills’ Cardiff office, who are assisting Loftco with the marketing of W2 commented: “There is currently a good level of demand for smaller flexible offices at present, particularly from companies in the creative and TMT sectors.
“We believe W2 will be an attractive proposition to these and other companies looking for contemporary office space.”
