Knight Frank Establishes Residential Division in Cardiff

The new division will join the firm’s well-established commercial business, based in its Cardiff Bay office at Scott Harbour.

The move will further enhance Knight Frank’s already existing coverage of South Wales, which has previously been covered from the offices based in Hereford and Bristol.

Knight Frank Partner Anthony Clay, who has over 25 years of experience and knowledge of the Cardiff, Monmouthshire and Glamorgan property markets, will lead the residential sales division, having relocated from Knight Frank in Hereford.

The team is set to expand in the very near future to incorporate a sales agent for the city.

Anthony said: “At Knight Frank, we pride ourselves on identifying and responding to market activity and demands.

“Our ongoing research has shown that now is the perfect time to consolidate and strengthen our presence in the South Wales region and to be based centrally in Cardiff, where our clients need us to be.

“We are fortunate to be part of the Knight Frank network of more than 15,000 people across 411 offices in 60 countries.

“We are therefore able to truly set ourselves apart by providing a worldwide service that captures interest from both a local and global audience.”

Matt Phillips, managing partner of the Knight Frank Cardiff office, added: “It is a very exciting time at which to grow our residential sales team in Cardiff, a city which has seen dramatic growth, thanks to developments in the city itself and unwavering demand for homes in the surrounding areas.

“Anthony, who lives locally to the area, has served the areas of Monmouthshire and South Herefordshire region for over 25 years, so is well placed to focus specifically on sales in this area and to expand the Knight Frank team in Cardiff.”
