CDS secures £6m MoD contract
Award-winning communications company CDS has landed a £6m print management and digital solutions contract for the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
CDS was awarded the contract following a mini-tender competition under Lot 2 of the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) end-to-end print and digital solutions Framework RM3785.
MoD spokesman, Aidan O’Mara, said: “CDS emerged from the competitive tender exercise as the overall winner on quality and price.
“CDS will be able to provide expertise, help and guidance to drive savings and the necessary insight to move the MoD toward digital solutions where appropriate.
“We are extremely pleased to be working with CDS again.”
The MoD contract, which has a value of circa £6m pa, was re-won by CDS after a gap of five years away from the company, with the MoD and CDS previously collaborating on print projects earlier in the decade.
David Burton, CCS director at CDS, added: “We’re absolutely delighted to have won the contract back. We have a busy few weeks ahead as we mobilise the arrangement and are looking forward to re-establishing operations in Norwich and welcoming back into our organisation a great team of print professionals who will continue to service the MoD’s requirements under our new management.”
